250th Anniversary Mass and Dinner

4:00 PM               Celebration Mass in the Basilica
                               Celebrated by Bishop Daniel

5:30 PM               Dinner Celebration in the Central Courtyard,
                               Reception, Hors d’oevres & Silent Auction

6:30 PM               Dinner Service

7:30 PM               250th Celebration Program


HEALTH PROTOCOL
– Face Coverings are required for all visitors while indoors.

ENTRY – Central Courtyard entrance is accessed from the Parish Parking Lot.

PARKING – If you plan to attend the Celebration Mass at 4:00 p.m., follow the Event Parking directional signage in front of the Basilica. If you arrive after 5:00 p.m., valet parking is available. You can also park in the Event Parking lot if you do not want to valet.

CHECK IN – Guest Check-In begins at 5:00 p.m. and is located in the Central Courtyard. As you enter the courtyard, signage will direct you to the Check-In desk where you will receive your table number along with a silent auction bid number.

SILENT AUCTION – The silent auction features an incredible collection of both local County and California wines. Please allow time to stroll through the auction tables and bid.

ATTIRE – Attire for the evening is cocktail casual. As this is an outdoor evening event, the temperature can change very quickly. The current night time low prediction for Sunday is 54° so please dress accordingly.

RESTROOMS – Available for attendees in the Central Courtyard.

ACCESSIBILITY – Please notify at Check In if accessible seating is required.

We are very happy to announce that we are planning several special parish events to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the Carmel Mission beginning with the weekend of October 9 and 10.

Celebration Concert
Saturday, October 9, at 7:00 pm.

The concert will feature a musical selection showcasing the newly restored Casavant Organ, Tenor Pasquale Esposito, Monterey String Quartet, and our Carmel Mission Musicians.

  


Celebration Mass
Sunday, October 10, at 4:00 pm.

4:00 pm – Mass celebrated by Bishop Daniel Garcia in the Basilica.

All are welcome, no ticket required for Mass.

Celebration Dinner

In the Central Courtyard.

5:30 pm – Reception and silent auction

6:30 pm – Dinner and program


The October 9 and 10 activities kick off our 250th Anniversary Celebration, which will continue through this year and next, as we welcome our community back into the full resumption of activities.
