2018 | Your Gift Brings Life to Our Church, Love to our Family, and Light to our Future
ANNUAL MINISTRY APPEAL
Our goal for the 2018 campaign, Your Gift Brings Life to Our Church, Love to Our Family, and Light to Our Future, was to raise $100,000. That provided Carmel Mission with an additional $50,000 above our commitment to the diocesan requirements.
The focus of the campaign was to complete the updating of Crespi Parish Hall. The Mission has more than 25 individual ministries serving our parishioners. Virtually all of them use Crespi Parish Hall in one way or another. Prior years’ AMA donations have helped get us started, but there was still more work to be done. The work required to update the kitchen to make it safe and more functional was more extensive than originally expected.
The Crespi Parish Hall campaign transformed our parish hall into a warm and inviting meeting space for our parish community and ministries. The fully remodeled kitchen, bathroom, and storage areas, along with the addition of a small conference room and a new audio-visual system, have made Crespi Parish Hall the center of hospitality at the Mission.
