Dear Friends of Carmel Mission,
We are all in need of healing, be it physical, spiritual or emotional. None of us is perfect.
The Anointing of the Sick is a wonderful opportunity for us to experience the healing grace of God. This Sacrament is frequently celebrated In hospitals, convalescence homes or in the home of a sick person.
You are invited to join us at our beautiful Basilica at the 11:00am mass on next Sunday, February 10th, 2019, for a communal celebration of the Anointing of the Sick. We are indebted to the Knights of Malta for organizing this event for our community. One of the primary works of mercy undertaken by the Knights is care of those who are sick.
If you know of a friend or neighbor who is ill, why not offer to bring them to the Mission next Sunday? If you yourself sense that you are in need of the healing power of God, then why not join us and receive the Anointing? We hope to have four priests present to celebrate the Sacrament.
May each of us experience the healing grace of God in our life.
