Dear Friends of Carmel Mission,
This weekend seventeen of our young people will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. We extend our sincere congratulations to them as they complete their two year program of preparation for this important Sacrament. We thank their parents and their sponsors for accompanying and supporting them during their time of preparation.
We welcome Bishop Sylvester Ryan back to the Mission that he both knows and loves. He will be conferring the Sacrament on our Confirmation candidates.
I take this opportunity to thank our wonderful Coordinator of Faith Formation, Rosellen Sana, and her Confirmation Team, Anna and James and Shannon and Greg. Your tremendous dedication and your enthusiastic sharing of your faith is an inspiration to our young people. You have helped them to know so much more about the Catholic faith.
May the Holy Spirit fill all our hearts with many gifts, and help us have both courage and confidence to live our faith fully.
