Dear Friends of Carmel Mission,
On behalf of our parish community and all our friends at our beautiful Mission, I issue the warmest possible welcome to our new Bishop, Most Reverend Daniel E. Garcia, D.D.
I pray that you will learn to love this wonderful place that is the Diocese of Monterey.
I pray that you will be for all of us who serve here, a wise, caring and prudent Shepherd.
Since you will be living at our Mission, I pray that you will be not only a good neighbor, but an important member of our family. (I promise not to raise your rent – at least for the first year!)
