This weekend marks the conclusion of our active campaign for the AMA, our Annual Ministries Appeal. I am overwhelmed by the generous response of so many of you, both parishioners and friends of Carmel Mission.
Never before have we had such a generous response to the AMA. We have achieved our Diocesan goal of $50,000 and exceeded our overall goal of $100,000. The last time I checked the figure was over $136,000.
We are spending the money in a wise and astute manner, as we upgrade the facilities at Crespi Parish Hall. Our beautiful newly refitted kitchen is almost completed. The next phase will include the restoration of two offices.
As you are probably aware, Crespi Hall is an important part of our history at Carmel Mission. But it is part of a living history and is used by so many ministries in our thriving parish.
I would love to raise the donor figure to $150,000. I believe that is possible with your generous assistance. Please consider prayerfully whether you might donate and be a true friend of our beautiful Carmel Mission, as we continue to move Always Forward…
