Although it is not yet mid-June, I want to invite you to join us for our Founder’s Feastday, which takes place on Sunday, July 1st, 2018.
On that day, we invite all our parishioners, our pilgrims and all who are friends of Carmel Mission, to celebrate the Feastday of St. Junipero Serra, our Founder and first Pastor. Please come and celebrate this joyous occasion with us.
We will have a special mass at 11:00am, followed by a Procession, when a relic of St. Junipero will be brought into our main Courtyard. There we intend to gather around the fountain, and pray for our beloved Bishop, Richard Garcia.
There will be entertainment and food available. Also, a number of our Docents will be offering free guided tours of our beautiful Carmel Mission and Museums.
So, why not place the date in your calendar and join us as we celebrate our own St. Junipero?
