Dear Friends of Carmel Mission,
Our school, JSS, has recently commenced a new academic year.
During the summer months, we carried out a refurbishment of classrooms and grounds.
Teachers and parents have commented on how everything is looking so fresh and clean.
We have also enhanced our school security system with a view to making the campus as safe and secure as possible.
I join with our entire school community in extending an invitation to you to come and visit us next Sunday, September 23rd, as we celebrate our 54th Annual Junipero Serra School Fiesta in our beautiful Carmel Mission Courtyard.
There will be a procession from the Basilica to the Courtyard directly following the 11:00am Mass, led by a Mariachi band. This true community celebration holds something for everyone, including a Savory Barbecue, Kids’ Area with food, fun and games, unique works by local crafters and artisans, live music by The Money Band, and many other attractions.
Admission is FREE!
