Welcome to the Bereavement Ministry webpage where you will find the Bereavement Ministry Brochure and partial information from the Planning Booklet for Funeral Mass and Reception, a guide for planning funerals.
The brochure depicts services the Bereavement Ministry provides to families who have lost a loved one, and it lists the various roles that Bereavement Ministers perform. If you think you might be interested in joining the Ministry, please download and complete the form on the brochure and mail it to the parish office.
The information from the Planning Booklet for Funeral Mass and Reception consists of a list of Scripture readings and a list of hymns used in funeral Masses as well as a form used in planning funerals. These three items are presented on this webpage for the convenience of anyone wanting to start the process of planning a funeral for a loved one or for personal preplanning. You may download the form and refer to the information in the Scripture and hymn lists to assist with selections. The complete planning booklet has additional information and is available from the parish office.
